The Hakkari Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports announced that the training sessions are being held at the scenic Merga Bütan Ski Center, a location already known for its winter sports potential.
The initiative, conducted by instructors from the Yüksekova Aviation Academy, provides participants with hands-on experience in a thrilling new sport while introducing a fresh dimension to the region’s tourism sector. The program is designed not only to equip athletes with new skills but also to highlight Hakkari’s suitability for adventure and nature-based tourism year-round.
