Prof. Dr. Haluk Çağlar Kaymak, Director of the Plant Production Practice and Research Center, emphasized that the harvested wheat serves multiple purposes. Some of it is reserved as seed for farmers, while the rest is supplied to the market.
“Our aim as a center is to create a structure that inspires confidence among producers and serves as a model for the region,” Kaymak explained. “We want to highlight both the economic power of agriculture and the irreplaceable value of the land. Currently, we manage 3,850 decares of wheat, 950 decares of buckwheat, 5,000 decares of meadow grass, 250 decares of barley, 250 decares of oats, 220 decares of silage corn, and 950 decares of sugar beets. With 36 dedicated staff members, modern agricultural machinery, and strong infrastructure, we contribute significantly to the region’s agriculture. Our goal is to transform our center into a continuous learning academy for farmers.”
