Rules – Community Guidelines – Newstimes Turkey
The following are the community guidelines for users of Newstimes Turkey regarding the comments they post and other communication activities:
Respect: Users must be respectful toward one another.
Racist, Sexist, and Offensive Comments: Members are prohibited from posting racist, sexist, homophobic, or offensive comments. Such comments will not be tolerated and will be moderated.
Hate Speech and Violent Comments: Newstimes Turkey reserves the right to remove content that incites hatred, violence, or contains provocative or derogatory statements against individuals or groups based on their religion, race, ethnicity, age, social status, political views, sexual orientation, or physical condition.
Sharing Personal Information and Harassment: Users who violate the Terms of Service by disclosing other users’ personal information, using it for personal gain, or engaging in threatening or harassing behaviors will have their accounts suspended.
Offensive and Degrading Comments: Comments that degrade individuals, institutions, cultures, or societies using insults, profanity, or vulgar expressions will be deleted. Warnings may be issued to the users, and their accounts may be terminated.
Respect for Religious and Political Views: To maintain a healthy discussion environment, users are required to respect the beliefs and opinions of others.
No Use of Capital Letters: Comments written in all capital letters are prohibited.
Language Requirement: Comments on the site must be written in Turkish.
Grammar and Spelling: Users should pay attention to grammar and spelling in their comments. Unclear comments may be deleted or edited for correction.
Commercial Comments: Comments for commercial purposes or those violating copyright will not be allowed.
Provocative Usernames: Provocative or aggressive usernames are not allowed.
Topic-Relevant Comments: Comments that stay on topic help prevent unnecessary discussions. Otherwise, comments may be deleted at Newstimes Turkey’s discretion.
Sharing Personal Information: Users must not share personal or private information for their own safety.
Harassment of Employees: Users who send abusive or offensive private messages to Newstimes Turkey employees will have their accounts deleted.
Spam Messages: Sending spam messages is prohibited. Repeated messages of the same or similar content will be addressed.
Respect for Judicial Processes: Comments that show disrespect for judicial authorities or may affect ongoing or future legal proceedings will not be tolerated.
