Togg, Türkiye’s pioneering electric SUV, is gearing up for a major milestone as it prepares to appear at the 2025 International Motor Show (IAA) in Munich. With advanced technology, bold design, and national pride under its hood, the Togg T10X is ready to showcase what Türkiye’s growing automotive sector is capable of. Ahead of the exhibition, German automotive magazine Auto Bild conducted a 2,000-kilometer real-world test from Türkiye to Germany—an evaluation that offered European readers a closer look at one of the most promising EVs of the year.

Crossing Borders with Turkish Innovation on Four Wheels
The test began in Gemlik, the home of Togg’s manufacturing facilities, and continued through Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria before concluding in Munich. The long-distance journey was more than just a performance test—it was also a public reveal. At every stop, from border checkpoints to gas stations, the T10X drew the attention of curious onlookers. According to Auto Bild, the vehicle delivered a smooth, reliable experience without technical issues, a testament to its maturity despite being a relatively new entry into the market.
One standout detail was the brand’s investment in infrastructure beyond its home country. In Serbia, Togg offers 200 kW charging free of charge at select stations, mirroring Tesla’s strategy and underlining its commitment to user convenience.
Performance and Power That Rivals Global Giants
Equipped with an 88.5 kWh battery, the Togg T10X boasts a range of up to 468 kilometers on a single charge. It delivers 435 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque through an all-wheel-drive configuration, offering both speed and stability.
The SUV supports 180 kW fast charging, which minimizes downtime and enhances long-distance usability. Auto Bild noted that its driving dynamics and cabin silence are comparable to the Volkswagen ID.4, yet its integrated technology creates a distinctly modern experience that places it ahead of many competitors in the same class.

A Futuristic Interior for the Digital Era
Inside the T10X, a panoramic dashboard with four seamlessly connected digital screens transforms the driver’s experience. Its infotainment system, powered by artificial intelligence, enables users to stream videos, play games, take selfies, and curate music playlists—features typically found in luxury models.
Storage isn’t compromised by tech, either. Depending on configuration, the vehicle offers up to 1,515 liters of trunk space, making it practical for everyday use and long trips.
Design Backed by International Vision
The T10X’s visual appeal can be attributed to Murat Günak, a globally respected designer formerly with Volkswagen. His work ensures that the car not only looks futuristic but also feels ergonomic and globally relevant. The result is a vehicle that balances Türkiye’s cultural identity with international design language.
Pricing That Makes an Immediate Impact
One of the biggest competitive advantages of the T10X is its price. In Türkiye, the base model starts at around 31,000 euros—roughly half the price of a Volkswagen ID.4. Even the premium model stays under 40,000 euros. While prices in Germany are expected to be slightly higher, the T10X remains significantly more affordable than Tesla’s Model Y or Hyundai’s Ioniq 5, giving it a strong position in price-sensitive markets.
Looking Toward Munich and Beyond
Togg has already produced more than 60,000 units since 2023, and the T10X has become a common sight on Türkiye’s roads. As the Munich Motor Show approaches, the focus shifts to how European consumers will respond. Auto Bild’s initial impressions suggest that the vehicle is well-prepared—praised for its comfort, build quality, and digital integration.
Notably, OtomobilHaber.com, a leading automotive publication in Türkiye, echoed many of these sentiments, noting that the T10X represents more than a new car—it symbolizes Türkiye’s rising voice in global mobility.
